The Christian Education programs in our church are established with the purpose of helping children, youth, and adults to become disciples of Christ in our homes, our neighborhoods, and our world. Currently we have three adult classes that meet on a regular basis on Sundays:
Youth Sunday School Class Grandview now has a Sunday School class for middle to high school students. The class is conducted in an open forum format, where topics relating to being a Christian in today's society are discussed. The class meets in the youth room on the second floor of the church during the Sunday School hour 9:15-10:15 am. Come and join our group of youth who are struggling with the same problems and questions you are. You are not alone. Perfection is not required to be a Christian youth. This class is a great place to get help. CHILDREN'S CLASSES Pre-school class: a class for 3 and 4 year olds following the One-Room schoolhouse curriculum. Primary class: a class for early elementary children (Kindergarten through 2nd grade) following the One-Room schoolhouse curriculum. Secondary Class: a class for late elementary children (3rd, 4th, and 5th graders). Youth class: a class for middle to high school students. Nursery: available for younger children (ALL CLASSES MEET FROM 9:15-10:15 BEFORE THE WORSHIP SERVICE.) Children attend the worship service until after the
children's message, then attend classes where Bible lessons are presented
appropriate to their level of understanding: |
