Grandview Missions programs support SARA (Sharing America's Resources Abroad).  SARA is a ministry that brings together the medical and health needs of developing nations with the tremendous health resources of the United States. Several times a year volunteers from Grandview UMC  and Bethany UCC collect and send a shipment of needed medical supplies to a distribution center which oversees the shipment of the supplies to hospitals in desperate  need.  Since the non-profit organization SARA was begun, more than $18 million of medical equipment and supplies have been sent to more than 10 countries, and dozens of physicians have been brought to the U. S. for training.  For more information about this organization you may contact Rev. Stephen Szilagyi, a retired minister, founder and executive director of SARA.
