The hiking club has dusted off their tennis shoes and they are ready to hit the trails. The schedule is as follows:
  • 5/1 – Memorial Parkway Trailhead, Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath
  • 5/22 – Overlook Trail, Cascade Valley
  • 6/5 – Alder Trail, Goodyear Hts (1/2 mi roundtrip only)
  • 6/12 – Big Bend Area, Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath
  • 6/26 – Arboretum & Herb Garden, Nature Realm

All hikes are on Sundays at 2pm, meeting at the hike site. If anyone needs directions or to get in touch on a hike day, please call Lisa‘s cell – 330-256-1087. Five hikes are required to complete the Spree.

Hiking Form | Trail Surfaces

Hikers on foot and those with strollers, wheelchairs, walkers and canes enjoy flat, easy trails during this award-winning hiking series, May 1 through June 30

To receive hiking rewards, complete five hikes – on five different trails, the same trail or any combination of trails – and submit a completed hiking form. Hikes are FREE for all participants.

First-year hikers earn a neck lanyard and commemorative pin. Veteran hikers earn the commemorative pin. Out-of-county residents pay to receive their rewards ($10 for first-year hikers, $5 for veteran hikers)*. 

Additional hiking forms are available at the visitors center at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm, the park district's administrative offices and all Acme Fresh Market stores. For more information, call 330-865-8065.
